Short update

8:5*HAPPY 13th BIRTHDAY to our new teenager!!! Jordyn is super excited about her gifts, which I still haven't uploaded to the computer yet, but pics to follow.

*Benji is finally at Scout Camp up at Camp Tifinie, up by Ephriam/Manti area. It started on Monday, but as Benji is SWAMPED with work, he couldn't make it until yesterday. They stay through Saturday, and right now Benji texted me and told me they were at a leather class right now. They're also doing fun things like shooting range, Tarzan swing, Water wheel course, ropes course, etc. Sounds like fun!

*I am on day 14 with my happy pills and I can't really tell if it's working or not because at this time of the month I'm *usually* calm and collected, lol. So I guess the real test will be during the next few weeks when we get ready to head back to school. I'm praying that these pills help level me out, because it's MUCH more fun being happy/calm!

*Speaking of school, Back to School night is on Aug 16th, with the first day of school being on August 25th (yes, a Wednesday). The kids are excited about it, but I'm even MORE excited (as I listen to screeching and fighting in the background).

*Jordyn (with her friend Chauney) had a blast school shopping in St. George on Tuesday! We got some cute outfits, and it will be fun to try different outfits on to see how many we can come up with. We went to different stores and even though she wasn't able to buy too much with the amount she had, she did end up getting some way cute items!

*Being 2nd counselor in the Primary means I attend a lot of cub scout activities. Last saturday they had their huge service project, which was cleaning up trash on the side of the road. We "only" did 1/2 mile, but in that 1/2 mile we filled over 20 bags of garbage!!! It was hot, muggy, and we were dying by the time we were done. Afterward, we all had a BBQ at the Bishop's house (DELICIOUS!) before heading home. I didn't take my camera because I was busy helping, but it was so much fun.

*Our Tahoe has been in the shop now for over a week, and isn't close to being finished. *sigh* It will cost a pretty penny, but it's better that we fix it than trade it in and make huge payments on something else. For now we've been using the peeling Cadi. So stylish. Lol.

*It's been a near-constant thunderstorm here for the last 2 weeks! We've had SO much rain, lightening, and thunder. It's actually been beautiful and fun to hear the thunder, but the humidity is through the roof! We don't have A/C, so we've had to deal with a bunch of fans in the rooms, wich help to a degree, but man. Sweaty and muggy!

*We found Ryan's DS in the couch yesterday....YAY! This gives us hope that Koby's DS is actually in our house, we just haven't found it yet. I'm crossing my fingers we find it soon, just so that I don't get sick over something that expensive being lost forever. Lol.

*Busy, busy, busy.... that's why my poor blog hasn't been updated in a while. But I'll have to get those pics up so you can see what we've been up to! :)
