Snow Day

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

It's been snowing here... don't know exactly how much, I'm guessing about 12-14 inches or so. The kids had a blast bundling up and playing outside again. Even I got my snowsuit on and joined in on the fun. We made their slide bigger, and Benji helped out a while later by building a snow fort. :) Snow sure is beautiful, and I don't mind it, really. For a couple weeks. Lol.

We went to Cedar City yesterday to do our grocery shopping, and picked up the new Harry Potter movie. The girls watched it for the first time and of course, loved it. We also picked up Shark Girl & Lava Boy for the boys. They watched it on TV a week ago and loved it so much, they've been begging me to buy it. At least it was only $7!

For most of the day I've just been making Broccoli Cheese soup, Benji's making his famous butterhorn rolls, and I've also been clicking away at the keyboard, typing up 100+ friends and family addresses so I can hurry and send our Christmas cards out the day they arrive! If you haven't given me your current address- you still have time--- today! Lol. If I don't get it, then I'll end up sending your card to someone else. :)

The kids are excited to start one of our now yearly family Christmas traditions- the 12 Days of Christmas! Jordyn & her friend Kelby are doing it for someone, and then our family picked someone from our ward. It's a semi "funny" version this time around, since we had to do it all on a budget- but it turned out pretty cute! I'll post them when we're done.

So, busy day overall, but also relaxing at the same time. The kids are now bundled up on the couch taking turns playing Brittany's Nintendo DS. Life is good.
