On the 4th day of Christmas, my neighbors gave to me...
Some popcorn and hot cocoa
"On the 4th day of Christmas your secret friends know everyone could use some extra "dough" for Christmas!"
On the 5th day of Christmas...
a plate of yummy cookies and homemade suckers
"Your Secret friends wanted to bring you a bit of "disposable" Christmas Cheer! What could be better than no dishes, my dear?"
On the 6th Day of Christmas....
"Your friends wanted to remind you to not forget the "Riesen" for the Season!"
This day, our neighbors (who don't usually leave a note with their gift) left a cute story with the orange rolls: "The orange and the Tramp". Cute story!
On the 7th Day of Christmas....
some no-bake cookies!
"Your secret friends wanted to bring you something
to warm you up on this Co...Co...Cold night!" (It really WAS biting cold outside!)
On the 8th day of Christmas....
"Your secret friends wanted to "Pop" by (again) to wish you a Merry Christmas, and hope your holidays are "Sweet"."
...and the 2nd gift was some pretty Christmas ornaments!

STAR PERFORMERS
"Star Performers" is an after-school choir group that Brittany and Ryan joined. Their first performance was on the 16th at the Long-Term Care area in the hospital.
They did great! The songs were beautiful! Afterward, Ryan told me that none of the old people were smiling at them. LOL! I told him that they are there in spirit, but that they have a lot of health problems so sometimes they can't look up or show emotion. I think he understood. :)

SANTA'S WORKSHOP
On the 17th, Koby's 3rd grade class held another "store". Koby worked hard on making homemade crafts to sell!
There were snowmen...
Beaded candy canes..... salt dough "2010" ornaments...
beaded bracelets... salt dough "cookies", and 2 huge Symphony candy bars. He ended up selling the candy bars first- for a whopping $50 per candy bar!
Here he is going around the classroom buying gifts for his siblings
Koby had a few customers while I was there...
He only sold half his items, but he sure made a killing because of the candy, lol!
RUDOLPH
This is the craft I am doing at Koby's class Christmas party. Since we only have an hour, I've painted and glued most of it already. All they have to do is glue on the face.
ELEMENTARY CHRISTMAS PROGRAM
Last night was Panguitch Elementary's Christmas Program!
Here's Brittany's 5th grade class singing, "You're a mean one, Mr. Grinch!"
Then Koby's 3rd grade class sang, "We Need a Little Christmas"
Koby was wearing "Ha Ha", and when they sang, "For we need a little laughter", he stepped forward. It was a really cute performance.
Then it was Ryan's 1st grade class singing, "We are Santa's Elves" & "Christmas Eve is Here"
Ryan was clear on the other end of the gym, so it was hard to get good shots of him, but he did so good! He kept looking over at us and smiling. :)
Benji & Grandma Veater
The finale, the whole school sang, "Gift of Love" & "We Wish You A Merry Christmas". WAY cute!
DECORATING THE GRAVES
Yes, yes... we added MORE Christmas lights! I made this sign a few days ago, and found it fit perfectly in our front windows. Then I realized that it blocked the bottom half of Benji's "forest" display! No, it wasn't intentional, but Benji's a sweetheart and said I can just keep it up since there is only a week until Christmas, lol.
Benji put up this HUGE Christms tree about 1 1/2 weeks ago. One of the strands of lights only worked on half, but last night it magically lit up again, so I thought I'd hurry and take a picture. The tree is as tall as the tallest point on our house!

Other news:
We tackled Cedar City last weekend with the kids so they could buy gifts for their friends at the dollar store. We were all looking forward to it. I don't know why I do this to myself, lol!! It ended up being pretty hectic. I had to count each gift and cross off the friend on the list to who it was for, and make sure they all had enough $, etc. Very hectic. But we had fun and made it home before the storm.
Speaking of storms! We have been getting rained on NON-STOP the last few days. Snow? Nope! RAIN! It's pouring in St. George, even flooding again from what the news is saying. I like that it's not snowing because of how bad the roads get, but we'd all love a White Christmas!
We've also had a few power outages. Yesterday morning the power went out at 5:30 am, and didn't come back on until 10:30am. The kids were super excited to stay home from school, and although I didn't want them home, it made for a good "clean the house" day, lol! This morning the power went out again at around 3:00am but came on at 7am, just in time for the kids to get ready and head off to school.
We handed some of the kids' friends' christmas gifts out already, and I took Ryan's bag of gifts to his class this morning to pass out. The kids are having so much fun with it, and I'm just thankful for Dollar Stores! The kids also handed out their cute notepad gifts to their teachers today.
Our ward Christmas party is tonight, and I know we also have things going on each night before Christmas. HECTIC. I sort of wish the last few days before Christmas were "free days" to wind DOWN from all the programs, shopping, parties, etc, but...oh, well! It's fun, anyway. And I'm going to love going back to BED after the kids open gifts Christmas morning! Lol!
As for the sicknesses- Jordyn is feeling MUCH better! We were worried about her for a while, but Benji gave her a blessing and she's doing fine right now. Her stomach still bothers her, but not like it was. I am not feeling well at all. Headache everyday sucks! But at least the body aches have gone away. Benji is major stiff and sore from tearing out linoleum all day yesterday, and has to do it all day today. Koby feels much better. He only has a slight "yacky" feeling. Brittany and Ryan seem to be just fine. *knock on wood!*
LOTS to do still and NO time to be sick! I hope you are having a wonderful holiday season!

can I come to your house for the christmas season next year? You make it so fun! At first, I was thinking Koby sold his candy bars for $50 real dollars! But then it hit me it's probably fake money, right? LOL. If you have some salt dough ornaments left over, save some for our gift next year. I think they are adorable and my kids would love them! And I love all of your festive Christmas decorating! I wish we could have tons of lights out around our house, but it just never happens.
Lol! Yeah, it's fake money. He actually won the contest for most money made by a "single" vendor. The others who passed him up were 2 groups of "multiple" vendors, so he was pretty stoked.
We'll have to make you some for next year! They're pretty cute when they turn out. :)
Merry Christmas to you & the family!
Love all the pictures! It's cool to see how involved your kids are in school stuff (which makes you more involved! LOL!)
Love you,
Da Kine
