Busy!

Saturday:

Benji came home Friday night after working in St.George all week. Yay for work!!! We also got paid from that job, so we were able to pay the bills AND have some for groceries! Whew! Benji and I spent Saturday cleaning out the sunroom/computer room because it's FREEZING COLD in there. We put the computer & my scrapbook junk into the "TV Room", put more plastic up inside the sunroom, and sealed it off in attempts to help cut our heating bill in half! Our bill is now up to over $700 for the month of Dec! Mostly, I found out, because of our portable heater we were running to keep the boys' room warm, and Benji was VERY sick for 2 weeks and had a hot bath at least twice a day... it all added up quickly! That, mixed with our house being extremely NON energy efficient! So hopefully we fixed some of the problem. While we were doing all of this, Koby's friend Isabella (Bella) came by to visit for 4 hours! They had a lot of fun. Koby really likes Bella, and says she's "beautiful". :)

Sunday:

Attended a baptism prep class with Koby. He was so cute- he kept raising his hand whenever the missionaries asked questions and wasn't afraid to say the answers! We found out there are a LOT of boys who will be turning 8 this year, and only a few girls. We also found out that there is no "Stake Baptism Day", and that we're free to schedule Koby's baptism anytime after his birthday. Anyone know if I can borrow a jumpsuit to have his Baptism Pics taken in? We bought a baptism dress for our girls and used it for their pics, but I didn't think about my boys...

Monday:

Benji went back to St.George to work for the week. We are SO happy and SO blessed with this work! Later on after I picked the kids up from school, we drove to Cedar and met Benji there, ate dinner, and then made our way to Walmart to get our (almost) month's worth of groceries. I am so grateful to Benji for helping me shop- I couldn't of done by myself with all 4 kids! We got out of there at around 8pm, and I was so worried Benji might fall asleep on his way back to St.George (He had been up since 2, and left at 4am).Thankfully, we both made it home safely, Jordyn helped me put the groceries away, and we crashed!

Tuesday:

Brittany got up at 5:30 am to work on a small report about cloud formations for extra credit, and Jordyn finished her homework since she didn't have the time yesterday. After dropping the kids off at school, Ryan and I drove to Cedar again to pick up our non-food items. What a boring/monotonous ride! Got home around lunchtime, and now that I can take a breather, I find that I have a LOT to do for a few days! I really need to clean out and reorganize our food cupboards and food storage, and then once that's done, I need to get back to the "new" computer room to organize that mess and put stuff away. Once I get THAT done, I can THEN focus on the MAJOR HUGE filing job that needs to be done!

And that's why I've been a little "MIA" lately. :) Btw- "Biggest Loser" tonight! I can't BELIEVE how much weight those contestants lost last week! Woot! Woot!
