Jordyn's View

So, yeah. This is the FIRST thing I ended up making on my new Cricut machine. Lol. Jordyn wanted to cheer on a guy from our ward who is on the wrestling team. So we decided to make her a poster to support him! Later we found out that hers was the *ONLY* poster there, and it made quite the conversation piece. Lol. If I would've known who else was on the team who we knew , I'd have made more signs!
Jordyn & friend, Kylee in front of the school
Wrestling Tournament
Garrett is the guy on his knees on the left
Here he is just below the guy in the red shirt
Warm-ups?
"There's this chic taking tonz of pics!" Lol. Jordyn said she and maybe ONE other person took pics the whole time- Jordyn ended up taking TONZ of pics, so she got a lot of heads looking at her, even the players.
Garrett...clapping
...and of course she likes this pic- Garrett (putting his head gear on) getting ready to go out on the mat!
He did awesome... against a CHIC!! Yep. Apparently, women's lib has infiltrated MEN'S WRESTLING in the High Schools.
...but Jordyn's focus wasn't on the *chic*.... ;)
Bobcats win another! :)
I'm sure she'll be teased mercifully at school today. Hopefully not, but... small town... they've got to talk about *something*, right? :p I'm proud of Jordyn for being herself. That's my girl.

Here are some other pics Jordyn has taken with her new camera over the past month:
Her friend Amber at school
Jordyn at school
Looks like she found out how to use the timer. ;)
Awww! It's so SWEET when they get along!
A close-up of her friend Kylee at school
Jordyn- using the self-timer again- in Cedar City a few weeks ago
During a sleep-over at Kylee's house- along with Jordyn's old kitten, Destiny, who Kylee adopted. :)
At the computer lab at school. Lol- I can still remember when *I* was 12- I was totally into those "boy toy posters", too!
Jordyn and her BEST FRIEND in the whole entire universe, Chauntel!
A pic of Snow Canyon with Jordyn's camera
Brittany playing in Gpa & Gma Mitchell's backyard
Coming home to the North Pole... er... Panguitch.
Deer Tracks! Incidentally, yesterday when I came home from picking Ryan up froom school, I drove into the driveway and saw a beautiful full-grown deer right in front of our garage staring right at me. Of course, the moment I opened the door, it dashed off. Still! So pretty!
And that's just a glimpse of "Jordyn". :)

Loved it! I think that is great that she is so open about having a crush on a boy. But I guess she has you for a mom! :) She looks so young compared to her friends. I will say that she will be grateful for that when she is older, but I am still getting that, and its getting kind of old. She is very beautiful though! You should be proud.

Thanks, Lena! I totally agree- she *does* look quite young for her age, and right now she'd give anything to look a little older. Unfortunately, it also means the boys don't respect her as much because she also acts a lot younger/ more naieve than the rest. :p I keep telling her to try and not let it bother her- because the boys here are LOSERS anyway! I keep telling her to wait until college- she'll be more "mature" by then, and the guys will start liking her for HER, and not dislike her because of her "transplant" status. ;)

oh man. I'm glad you're not my mom. I would be MORTIFIED by this post. LOL. But I'm totally different from Jordyn. She's such a cutie - and a good sport, too. I LOVE those pix of her and Brittany together. And the self-portraits she did. Such cute girls.

Which part was mortifying? We're a pretty open family, and I've always been that way, so I guess I don't see it. Lol. :)

Well, you know me. I'm a VERY private type person. So to have everyone know about my crush, complete with a million pictures of him would have driven me over the edge at her age. It's awesome that she's not bothered by it, though. I know Sydney will be just like me in that dept. She already gets SO embarrassed by the silliest things.

Yeah, Jordyn's totally like me in that dept, I guess. She asked that I don't post anything about her crush on FB, but this blog (even tho it's public) is only viewed by those (since I changed it) who I have emailed. So- very close friends and family (none of Jordyn's friends or anyone in Panguitch), and Jordyn's totally okay with that. :)

I didn't realize you were THAT private of a person, though- I guess I just don't pay attention like I should! We truly are TOTALLY different people that way- I wonder who we take after? Lol!
