Things are a bit better today. :) Jordyn told me that she was the only kid in her grade to get 100% on her Science Test! Brittany had a rough day, but cheered up when she started writing her friends a letter about a new "club" she's organizing. Koby was excited that his "best friend" Isabella wanted to hang out with him, and Ryan was excited that he could watch the Smurfs again after his homework was done. Lol. This morning I woke up to find Jordyn had already taken a bath, blow-dried her hair, and was helping the other kids with their breakfast. All 4 kids were ready BEFORE we had to go (yay!) and were all in good spirits when they got to school. I think it has a lot to do with that it's Friday today. :) Benji comes home sometime today for a couple of days, then it's off to St. George again for another small job. We are so grateful for the "small" jobs! It takes a huge weight off my shoulders knowing the bills will be paid afterall, and that a good grocery shopping day is just around the corner. The things I get excited about now that I'm a mom.... I dunno...! Lol.

Congrats on the science test!! I used to organize "clubs" all the time as a kid too. :)
sorry you had a bad day yesterday. I think we all go through that sometimes. Glad your day was better today! I think it's so important to apologize to your kids like you did. It's a good lesson for them to learn: A- it's not okay for someone to lose control of themselves even if they are the grown-up and B- if you do lose control, you need to apologize and make things right. and C- we need to forgive each other when mistakes are made.
:O)
Heather- I totally agree. I want them to know that I feel bad for what happened, and that it's not okay for a parent to yell at their kids like I did. I also hope that by doing this, we'll come to be close as they grow up with their own kids.
