Friday after school Koby came home with this birthday goodie-bag with popcorn and a soda from his teacher:

Last night we had our friends over for dinner. I made navajo tacos and they brought some delicious chocolate-chip cookie peanut-butter melt type things. I forgot to take pics of our friends, lol, but here's the dough for the scones

TEA PARTY
Brittany was invited to a tea party today! It's hosted by her friend, Jordan (the tall blonde in the middle). They had to wear pink and curl their hair all fancy for pictures. When we got there, we saw that they totally outdid themselves! The table was set all cutesy with pink everywhere, lots of finger foods, and pink streamers adorned the banister and tables. I took a picture of the girls in front of the decor:

and got a shot of Brittany signing-in the booklet. If I wasn't so embarrassed by taking pics in a stranger's house, lol, I'd have gotten an actual pic of the decorated table itself, among other things! By the way- Jordan's mom is MY Jordyn's "Cooking Class/Home Ec" teacher, and she absolutely adores Jordyn. :)
They'll do the Tea Party for 3 hours (it's a "just for fun" party, too- what a fun mom!) and then they'll bring her home. I'm just so happy that Brittany was invited- it's so fun to see her HAPPY and EXCITED instead of depressed. :)

***
Well, not a whole lot going on today- just making the cake for Koby's bday so I can frost it tonight, then work on Koby's "favorite things" poster for his baptism, and I think I might call and invite my friend Candice over to talk- her mom said she's sort of "down" today. ;)
