Playing Around

Koby's class celebrated "100 Days" last week. He took 100 red-hots candies (the items were supposed to fit into a sandwich baggie) and came home with a froot-loop necklace and some fancy glasses. ;) Ryan's class will be celebrating their "100 Days" on Wednesday. He helped make a really cute poster- but I forgot to take a picture, so I'll have to post it when they take them home.
Last Friday we just played around one night after the other kids had gone to bed. Daisy (or "Rice" as we call her most days) was being cute and playful. She loves being teased by Jordyn, and so I took some pictures. Some of what I ended up catching are funny.
I have always loved his... no, not "unibrow"... lol... his green eyes. Just beautiful.

I can never get a true smile out of this guy. Anyone ELSE takes his picture, he's all smiling and happy. When *I* take his picture, I get THIS, but most times I just get a blank stare.
Rice is SO fluffy when her hair grows out! She only weighs 5lbs, but when she's all shaggy, it looks like she puts ON 5 extra lbs, but it's all FUZZ! She looks ginormous in this picture, but if she had just gotten home from the groomers, she would look all scrawny and small. We let her hair grow out in the winter so she won't catch cold here.
Brittany was invited to an "Almost Sleepover" birthday party last Friday. She came home with some fun crafts she made!
Can I just say how much I LOOOOVE that I have a brunette in the family? :)
Saturday one of our friends from the ward came by and gave this to me! She saw on FB that I was stressed and thought of brightening my day with some flowers. This lady needs flowers a LOT more than I do, so it really humbled me that people actually care. I've just been amazed at how genuinely SWEET the people of Panguitch really are.
...and here's what I've been buried in the past 3 days!
I finally finished my deep-cleaning of our "computer/craft" room/area. I still have to actually FILE the BILLS, but I did manage to organize and separate the kids' school papers and crafts into their own drawers/bins, and now our room is CLEAN!!! Good thing, too, because some people from the power company is coming tomorrow morning to conduct tests about the air flow in this house, and HOPEFULLY we'll qualify for some new windows or other weatherization helps! :)
Today I'm dying from cramps from AF, but I still need to deep-clean the upstairs aka KIDS DOMAIN. Lol. It feels awesome having a clean house, though. Hope you all have a wonderful Monday!

Not sure why, but I just got a new "invitation" - you didn't just move your blog again did you?

How sweet about the flowers, and 100 days looks fun! Quinlynn's was very similar, except they didn't warn us in advance or ask us to bring anything (my other kids were always asked to bring 100 things in a baggie).
